Overview

VecTronus began as RobuSnipe, an internal sniping bot used by a small trading circle. As demand grew, the project needed a full rebrand and a platform capable of serving thousands of concurrent traders.

The rebuild introduced multi-chain support, a proprietary Edge Rating system for scoring token risk, and an on-chain scan bot that surfaces opportunities before they hit mainstream radars.

The Challenge

The original bot was single-chain, command-line only, and impossible to onboard non-technical traders onto. Key issues included:

  • No visual interface — everything ran through Discord commands
  • Single-chain support limited addressable market
  • No standardized way to compare token risk across pairs
  • Scan latency made early entries inconsistent

Approach

We rebuilt the scanning engine around a multi-chain indexer and layered a real-time dashboard on top of it, giving traders a single pane of glass across chains.

  • Designed the Edge Rating system as a transparent, explainable score
  • Rebuilt the scan bot for sub-second alert latency
  • Shipped a web dashboard alongside the existing Discord workflow

Before & After

Before

Discord-only workflow with no persistent dashboard or historical view.

  • Command-line only
  • Single chain
  • No risk scoring

After

A full web dashboard with live scanning, Edge Ratings, and multi-chain coverage.

  • Web + Discord workflow
  • Multi-chain scanning
  • Transparent Edge Rating

Outcomes

Since launch, VecTronus has processed millions of on-chain events and become the primary tool for its trading community.

  • 3x increase in daily active traders after rebrand
  • Sub-second scan-to-alert latency across supported chains
  • Edge Rating adopted as the community's default risk shorthand

Reflection

The biggest lesson was that traders don't want to abandon the tools they already trust — meeting them where they were (Discord) while adding a proper dashboard drove adoption far faster than a dashboard-only launch would have.
