Overview
LiquidNFT is a creator-focused NFT marketplace designed to support digital artists, musicians, and media creators through platform-native NFT minting and liquidity-driven experiences.
As the platform evolved, the team identified the need for a complete platform redesign to improve usability, modernise the interface, simplify NFT interactions, and create a more immersive discovery experience for users.
The redesign extended beyond visual improvements. The project involved rethinking the overall experience across:
- UI/UX design,
- frontend architecture,
- backend scalability,
- interaction systems,
- responsive behavior,
- and marketplace usability.
The goal was to transform LiquidNFT from a functional NFT marketplace into a scalable digital ecosystem capable of supporting creators, collectors, and future platform growth.
The Challenge

Product Audit
The redesign process began with a full audit of the existing platform experience.
The team identified several structural and usability issues that affected engagement and discoverability across the marketplace.

- featured collections,
- trending content,
- creator highlights,
- and browsing categories.
Problems Identified
- Weak visual hierarchy
- Overcrowded interface
- Limited discovery flow
- Poor emotional engagement
- Minimal content separation
After
The redesigned homepage introduced immersive discovery patterns inspired by modern entertainment platforms such as Netflix.
The new experience prioritized:
- visual storytelling,
- browsing familiarity,
- scalable content grouping,
- and creator visibility.
Improvements
- Cinematic hero banners
- Horizontal collection rails
- Improved spacing systems
- Stronger content hierarchy
- Interactive browsing behaviors
- Enhanced creator visibility

Design Direction
The redesign direction was inspired by the familiarity and engagement patterns commonly used in modern entertainment platforms such as Netflix.
Rather than replicating streaming interfaces directly, the team adapted proven discovery behaviors into the NFT ecosystem to create a more intuitive and immersive browsing experience.
Modern entertainment platforms succeed because users already understand how to interact with them:
- horizontally grouped content,
- large visual surfaces,
- immersive hero sections,
- categorized browsing,
- and continuous discovery patterns.
The redesign applied these principles to NFT discovery in order to:
- reduce cognitive friction,
- improve content exploration,
- strengthen creator visibility,
- and encourage longer platform engagement.
UX Challenges
Design Challenges
Redesigning LiquidNFT required balancing the complexity of blockchain interactions with the simplicity expected from modern consumer platforms.
The team needed to simplify NFT discovery, wallet interactions, metadata-heavy interfaces, and transaction flows without removing critical marketplace functionality.
At the same time, the platform had to support multiple creator types — including artists, musicians, and video creators — while maintaining a consistent experience across desktop and mobile devices.
Another major challenge was creating a scalable structure capable of supporting future growth, interactive browsing behaviors, and immersive marketplace experiences without overwhelming users.
Redesign Strategy
The redesign strategy focused on transforming LiquidNFT into a more intuitive, scalable, and creator-focused ecosystem by improving usability across product, frontend, and backend experiences.
The team introduced familiar discovery patterns inspired by modern entertainment platforms such as Netflix to make browsing more immersive and accessible.
This included rebuilding the marketplace structure with stronger content hierarchy, interactive UI behaviors, responsive layouts, simplified navigation systems, and creator-first presentation models.
Alongside the visual redesign, frontend and backend systems were restructured to support scalable marketplace rendering, dynamic collections, wallet integrations, and smoother transaction experiences across the platform.
Responsive Experience
The platform was optimized across desktop and mobile experiences to maintain consistency and usability across screen sizes.
